"I believe that an experience lived with such intensity is of great relevance. Exposing Adventism Vol. 1 is an eye-opener for everyone who is looking for answers because it is dedicated to fighting the deceiving spirit that has blinded many by preventing them to live in it’s entirety the beautiful gospel of Jesus Christ."
Former Federal Judge, Writer and
International Speaker
"With great zeal for the TRUTH, the author of this book, Gleyson Persio, unveils the false foundations of the heresy of Adventism with personal experience, with theological knowledge and, even better, the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Excellent work!"
Professor of Theology in the
area of
Cults and Heresies at IEAD
"The love of God, stamped on the heart and mind of the author of this work of rescuing the unwary, goes much further than the members of the SDA church. For with the peculiar wisdom of a son of God, and with certainty guided by the Holy Spirit, he brings to light the knowledge of the Holy Scriptures, which go beyond the liberation of the members of this cult."
“I take the position that the Testimonies are not verbally inspired, and the have been worked up by the secretaries and put in proper grammatical shape (…) It is no kind of use for anybody to stand up and talk about the verbal inspiration of the Testimonies because everybody who has ever seen the work done knows better and we might as well dismiss it.” A. G. Daniells – Adventist General Conference President, 1919 Adventist Bible Conference.
“I have known for long years the way in which Sister White’s works were brought together and her books compiled. I have never believed in the verbal inspiration of the Testimonies (Ellen White’s writings).”F. M. Wilcox – Editor of the Review & Herald magazine, 1919 Adventist General Conference.
They are not verbally inspired, - we know that, - and what is the use of teaching that they are? G. B. Thompson - Secretary of the Adventist General Conference, 1919 Adventist Bible Conference.
In 1919, four years after Ellen White's death, the Seventh-day Adventist Church gathered all of its most important leadership at the time. From the biggest names in the field of theology to the leaders of the General Conference, to the editors of Review & Herald, to reach a mutual agreement regarding the validity of Mrs. White's ministry.
This meeting was held at the church's headquarters in Takoma Park / Washington D.C. during a Bible conference that took place in July / August of that year. Between July 30 and August 1, the focus of the meeting was on whether or not Ellen White's writings were divinely inspired. During these days, the official SDA'S draft noted that 11 times the church's top officials were publicly asked to issue an official opinion on the inspiration of Mrs. White's writings. These 11 times, such officials have refused to issue an official statement on the matter.
We were entering the second week of May 2018 and there was definitely something different in the air. The spiritual atmosphere of my home, my businesses, even my church had changed. Because I had changed. It was clear that something very relevant was going to happen. A “New Time” had arrived in my life. A new cycle was about to begin. However, nothing could truly prepare me for what was about to happen.
I had just come out of a spiritual journey with God for 60 days of early Morning Prayer where I would wake up during those 60 days, every day, at 3 am to pray for at least an hour.
Before proceeding with the analysis of Adventist doctrines, it is important to present a precious stone that is “hidden in the field”. Religious people do not find this jewel. It was kept for the children, only.
When the yoke of religiosity is broken in a person's life, the dam that held the revelations and blessings about the Kingdom of God is broken and like an alabaster vase, those truths begin to bathe and perfume the life of a child of God. At the same time, this anointing also prepares the son to be killed by religious people. This is exactly what happened to the Son of God, the Christ.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church, while having several characteristics common to other sectarian groups, also presents some peculiarities quite sui generis and I would say almost exclusive to its religious group. One of these peculiarities is the fact that one of its most important doctrines (and the backbone of its history) is also the most obscure and least known doctrine by the great majority of its members.
The doctrine of the Investigative Judgment (also called the doctrine of the heavenly sanctuary) if asked by an average member, it will most likely be answered with reticence or total ignorance of what it is about. This is due to several reasons.
One of the greatest consequences of false Adventist doctrines, especially the doctrine of investigative judgment, is to present a distorted image of Jesus Christ. Moreover placing Him in a false position of constant “detective of attitudes and sins”, who constantly points the finger at us for sinning in the smallest details or failing to do something that He would do, this doctrine also, creates another big problem.
It must makes Archangel Michael the same person as Jesus Christ. Jehovah's Witnesses, another Christian sect that originated in the SDA church, share this great heresy.
During this book, we have repeatedly pointed to the SDA church as a sectarian group. We recognize that this is a serious accusation that cannot be imputed to an institution without a diligent and in-depth study. However, if after such a study it becomes clear that this institution has the characteristics that identify a church as a sect, the members of that church will be taking serious spiritual and emotional risks for failing to heed this important revelation and warning.
What are the characteristics that can really identify a religious group to the point of calling it a “sect”?
This last and important chapter will probably scare the reader, whoever he is. I explain. If the dear reader is an Adventist, he will be confronted with biblical truths that probably never passed on his radar. Precisely because the SDA church, after years of experience, has learned how to skillfully manipulate its members into making them focus on just a few verses that support their doctrines. While other very important texts are left out, or read in such a quick and uninteresting way that they escape the attention of the hypnotized Adventist collective.
Now, if the reader is an orthodox Christian, or even of the gospel of the “Kingdom” (like I am) or even someone from some other religion, get ready to know some of the strangest doctrines of Adventism. Among them is the so-called “Sleep of the Soul” doctrine that is directly linked to two other very Sui Generis beliefs. The belief of the so-called "Annihilationism" and the "Dichotomy of Being". All of this is also directly linked to the vision of "Heaven" and "Hell" of this institution.
